Review

Strategic review

We use our in-depth experience and assured methodology to provide rapid diagnosis of any current project/system problems and identify the options for the business. Given the pressures the business faces in such circumstances, our approach is to ‘parachute’ a team of experts to understand the root cause(s) of the problems and build a resolution plan to aggressive timescales.

Our reviews look at Operational, Technical, Application and Service risks to provide an informed, holistic assessment and form the basis of any remedial plans.

Depending upon the agreed remedial plans, options might include changing software, re-implementing existing software and/or changing ways of working.

Requirements definition

To ensure the business model and system model are aligned it is vital that your business requirements are identified and translated into systems requirements.

We achieve this through our Target Organisational Model (TOM) and Total Business Model (TBM)

TOM is a method which maps out the new organisation and business processes design needed to deliver effective services. Once these are understood, the evaluation of systems becomes objective as they are measured against defined outputs.

TBM is a method to establish the detailed requirements for each functional area of a client’s organisation, e.g. Finance, HR and Operations. We have developed templates which allow us to quickly document the statutory, regulatory and management needs of each department and what services they will provide in the new organisation.
